sey way. She has been enjoying a
quiet rural vacation with Hank
and Shortie Backs, Hq/56. They
were joined by Wayne and Louise
Hooper, A/134 and Vince and
Edna Brackett, Sv/714, and Geo-
rge and June Moss, A/714.
For the first time they had the
pleasure of meeting new member
Andy Davis, 152nd Signal Com-
pany. Originally from Sullivan,
Illinois, Andy had rode the rods
MIDWEST CHAPTER MEETING
This will be our last opportunity for news of the
Midwest Chapter before the great week-end. I believe you
have all the information by now, and you should be getting
your reservation back to the Royal Inn by March 11, 1963.
The quicker you get them back in, the easier it makes it for
us to make last minute changes or plans.

TURNPIKE FROM THE EAST: Take Exit 5. Go north on 1-280 to
route 795. Take 795 west to Oregon Road 5 miles). Turn right (lorth)
on Oregon.
TURNPIKE FROM THE WEST: Take Exit 4 (Maumee). Go north on
Route 23 (Reynolds Rd.) to Route 2 (Airport Highway). Turn right
(east) on Route 2 to Route 24 (Anthony Wayne Trail). Turn left on
Route 24 and follow signs to Interstate 75 south. Go south on 1-75 to
Miami St. Exit 199
INTERSTATE 75 FROM THE NORTH [DETROIT]: Continue on I 75
to Exit 199A (Miami Street/Rossford). Turn right on Miami Street
INTERSTATE 75 FROM THE SOUTH: Continue north on 1-75 past
1-475 turnoff. Follow 1-75 to Exit 199 (Miami Street/Rossford). Turn
right on Miami Street
US 23 FROM THE NORTH [ANN ARBOR]: Go south on US 23 to
1-475. Follow 1-475 to Junction of 1-75. Go right (south) on 1-75. Continue
as per directions for 1-75 from the north.
FROM DOWNTOWN: Take Michigan St. southwest (a one way street)
to 1-75 south. Follow 1-75 to Miami St. Exit

union at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
