and size having lost 55 lbs. since
last February 1st. Paul has been
retired for 4 years and claims that
each day gets better. He extends
Holiday Greetings to all.
Another Christmas card receiv-
ed from my old Eastern Reunion
Sidekick, Stan Sarnocinski and
wife Libby (714 Tk Bn). Stan also
includes a note and a photo taken
of us in Stroudsburgh last year.
The picture shows us both ogling
at a sight that Stan claims could
have been that beautiful red
headed barmaid who was serving
us at the dinner-dance. As of his
writing, they are planning to fly
up to see their kids and grand
children with two more on the
way that will make eleven. They
returned home around January
7th and are looking forward to
seeing plenty of the big league
baseball games during spring
training in Florida and also some
University of South Florida games
where ex-Philies great pitcher,
Robin Roberts coaches and is only
12 blocks away from his home. He
closes with best to all.
Ken Zaraco (82 Med Bn) sends a
Christmas card with a note of
thanks for an old copy of the HCN
printed in Camp Barkeley, 30
March 1944 that I sent him. Ken
was a welterweight on the Divis-
ion boxing team at the time and
this issue mentioned his name and
carried much copy on the exploits
of the boxing team. He responds
that he enjoyed reading it very
much, is looking forward to seeing
me in the mountains come the
Eastern Reunion this year and
extends Happy Holiday greetings.
Also Christmas cards from Bert
and Mary Romano (66 AIB) and
one from grand daughter Melissa,
who writes hope your Christmas
was cheery and bright and your
new year too. Hoping to see you
at the Eastern Chapter Reunion
in Stroudsburgh. P. S. . . .
Grandma and Grandpa send their
best and hope to see you soon.
Bill and Marcie Cannon (66
AIB) with a Christmas card greet-
ing and P. S. . . . See you in the
Poconos at the Eastern Reunion.
And last but not least Christ-
mas cards received from our Prez
Bob and Betty Head (714 Tk Bn);
Jimmie Reese (Div Hq/SSO) and
Julius "Ed" and Mickey Bernstein
(Div Hq/G-5).
Members who renewed with
some boosters and without news
include Ray Dodge and Charlotte
Osgood (Div Hq/CCA); Harry
Ford (Div Hq); Tony Appio and

Deck and Russ Spidle (Divarty)

OK fellows, lets make some
New Years resolutions. First is
your hotel reservations for Nash-
ville. Start sending them in now,
as there may not be any reser-
vations left in the Hyatt Regency,
if you wait 'till May. The cost is
the same, and if any emergency
arises, you can always cancel,
right up to the date.
Also, mark your calendars to
pay your dues on or before July
1st. The association membership
dues year runs from July 1st
through June 30th, meaning that
your 82/83 dues year will end
June 30, 1983 (your membership
card shows you paid up to Sept. 1,
1983, but this is a misnomer.
Refer Art. II, Sect. 2 of the
By-Laws which states that mem-
bership dues are payable on or
before July 1 of each year, and
