BE DECREASED TO AVOID THE
DANGERS OF RABIES
Central Texas fox popula-
tion will have to be reduced by at
least 50 per cent immediately
in order to avert serious fox ra-
bies trouble this spring, the state
department of health has warn-
ed. Unless livestock owners'," fox
hunters,end the public generally

rabies cases, state health offi-
cer, George W. Cox predicted.
Five rabid foxes have been
killed within Austin’s city limits
or adjacent to them since the
first of the year, Dr. Cox said.
