Bishop College was established in 1881 as a Baptist college for African Americans in Texas. The school moved to Dallas in 1961. The campus was sold the same year. Its buildings were demolished. There is no postmark or message on the back of the card. The format, quality, and number code are almost identical to another card in this collection with the publisher's name W. M. Cline Co., Chattanooga, printed on it, and this card was probably produced by the same company.
