ore About
The Proposed
Amendment
Deafness Cannot Be Cured
by local applications, as they cannot
reach the diseased portion of tho car.
There Is only one way to cure deafness,
and that Is by constitutional remedies.
Deafness Is caused by an Inflamed condi-
tion of the mucous lining of the Eusta-
chian Tube. When this tube is inflamed
you have a rumbling sound or imperfect
he-trlng, and when it is c : i. 'y closed,
Deafhcss la tho result, and unless tho in-
flammation can be tal.cn out and this
tube restored to Its normal condition,
hearing will bo destroyed forever; nine
cases out of ten are caused by Catarrh,
Which is nothing but an inflamed condl->
tlon of tho mucous surfaces.
W» will give One Hundred Collars for any caso of
besfnesa (caused by catarrh) that cannot be cured by
Bill's Catarrh Caro. Bend for circulars, free.

Taka Hall’S Fatally PlUn for constipation.
Richardson’s Drug Store never
sold a remedy • that gave more
cofnplete satisfaction than Dod-
son’s Liver Tone—a mild vegeta-
ble remedy for constipation, sour
stomach and lazy liver.
Folks who have suffered for
years rather than resort to dan-
gerous calomel have found after
one trial that this pleasant tast-
ing vegetable liquid gives them
a long sought relief without bad
after-effects.
Dodson’s Liver Tone is guar-
anteed by Richardson Drug Co.
ty be a safe liver stimulant and
to be absolutely harmless—with-
out bad after-effects. You will
find many persons in this locality
who have tried it and every user
will spea.. a good word for Dod-
son’s Liver-Tone. It livens up a
torpid liver and mak^s you feel
fresh, healthy and clean.
XThelprice of a large bottle is
50 cents—mohey back if not
pleased;—The succesf of Dod-
son’s Liver Tone has brought
many medicines into the field
that imitate its claims, and some
have name very similar and
package same color, but remem-

Cologne, Germany, June 3.—
Cancer has been proved a con-
tagious disease caused by a para-
site and it can be healed, accord-
ing to Dr. Otto Schmidt a cancer
expert who reported at yester-
day’s meeting of the Medical So-
ciety here the result of his in-
vestigation into the origin and
possibility of curing cancer. Dr.
Schmidt declared he had proved
through experiment by means of
reported tests that the disease
was brought about by the pres-
ence of a parasite which he dis-
covered in cancerous growths
and he had procured a vaccine
with which he had healed num-
erous cases. He requested the
medical society to appoint a com-
mission to test his processes and
promised to place every thing at
theis disposal.., ____
