F-16 ACTIVITIES
Simulated Aircraft Maintenance Trainer (SAMT) Executive Management review at Honeywell 24
October.
Lt. General G. H. Sylvester, Commander Aeronautical Systems Division (ASD) was at Honeywell
27 October for a SAMT Program Review.
Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) on all Production Avionics Intermediate Shop (AIS) test sta-
tions completed 25 October.
Production AIS Roll Out ceremony held at GDE 30 October.
First flight of 4th production aircraft (USAF-B4) was completed 1 November.
First EPG production airplane No. 14 (BE-B 1) is on schedule in Field Operations at SABCA. First
flight planned for 4 December.
F-16 No. 12 is in Field Operations. Nos. 13 and 15 are in Final Assembly and Systems Operations at
Fort Worth. Nos. 16, 19, 22 and 32 are in FA and SO at SABCA and Fokker. There are 39 other USAF
and 34 EPG airplanes in production work.
No prototype flights were made last week. Thirty-four flights were made by FSD aircraft including
stores separation, TAC training, flare effect, and ferry flights.
Production aircraft 10, 11 and 12 accumulated 9 flights including acceptance flights and air-to-ground
strafing.
Fourth production A/P No. 12 completed first flight 1 November. Second GD acceptance flight com-
pleted 2 November.

INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Messrs. Swarttouw, Chairman of the Board, VFW-Fokker, Dusseldorf, and Cornelius, Vice President,
Engineering, Fokker-VFW, The Netherlands, visited Fort Worth 26 October for program briefings and
a plant tour.
Mister Dennis Loader, Government of British Columbia, was a Fort Worth visitor last week for the
F-16 Canadian discussions.
ELECTRONIC PROGRAMS
AF-EWES - The fiscal year '79 operations contract negotiations for the Air Force Electronic Warfare
Evaluation Simulator (AF-EWES) has been completed with the Aeronautical Systems Division (ASD)
for 53.8M.
TACC Automation - A Tactical Air Control Center (TACC) Automation demonstration has been suc-
cessfully completed at Bergstrom AFB for General Officers of the Tactical Air Control System (TACS)
steering committee.
MSQ-13 - Preliminary acceptance testing of the T-13 prototype radar has been essentially completed
and the unit has been shipped to the Armament Development and Test Center (ADTC) at Eglin AFB.
