Tucker, right, have purchased the Graham Steam
Laundry on Cherry Street. Operations of the Texas
Street Laundry will be combined at the Graham
Steam Laundry.

Under New Ownership
Jim Williams and Paul
Tucker have purchased the Gra-
ham Steam Laundry from W. B.
King according to an announce-
ment by the new' owners this
week. They are in the process
of moving their equipment
from the Texas Street Laundry
to the Graham Steam Laundry
on Cherry Street. ~ —
The Graham Linen and Uni-1
form Service will also be oper-
ated from the plant. Approxi-
mately 29 employes will be
used to carry the combined
operations of the laundry, dry-
cleaning. and linen service.
Williams said they would of-
fer one-day cleaning service,
and clothes jp hy 10 a.m, would
bo ready the same day.
Personnel from the two laun-
dries will be used in the Gra-
ham SSteam Laundry.
The former owner, Mr. King,
has returned to Denton, to
make his home.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sullivan and
boys of Fort Worth spent Satur-
day with their parents and their
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. E.
Caskey. Tim stayed over for a
longer visit.

tor of the Thornton Methodist
church is visiting his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Theodore Rice, Ann,
Cindy and Loretta.
Mrs. Homer Prater teacher of
the beginners Sunday School class
of the Loving Methodist Church,
took -her little folks on an outing
to Fireman's Parkin Graham
Sunday afternoon. The children
enjoyed playing on the swings,
wading in the water. Some man
took them for a boat ride

week with Mrs. Worley's par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. E, E, Chum-

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Jones
took her mother, Mrs. Mary Row-
ley to Wichita Falls Friday to
consult a bone specialist. Mrs.
Rowley has been suffering from
injured back and is reported to
be some better.
Mr. and Mrs W. G, jSolenburg
were in Oklahoma Monday where
they visited relatives.

their homes. They had some dam-
age to their houses that Sunday
evening during the high wind and
rein. Mr. and Mrs Prather also
had some painting done on their
home. Mrs. G. A. Bills had her
rent house redecorated inside.

Shepard will be moving into their
