The film was made to show to industrial prospects, service clubs, and other local organizations. Production began in February 1968 and continued in locations around Denton until late April 1968. The soundtrack to the film is the 1967 promotional LP produced by the Chamber of Commerce, "Dynamic Denton in Sound and Music." The film was shown to the Chamber of Commerce in the spring of 1968 and had its local debut at the Campus Theater in August 1968. Screenings of the film, both locally and nation-wide, were accompanied by a musical performance by cast members. The film shows a group of young men and women driving a Volkswagen convertible and stopping in various locations. The footage includes musical performances by North Texas State University Lab Band, choir, The Serenaders, symphony orchestra and symphonic band as well as The Choraliers from Texas Woman's University. Also included is footage of university students in a laboratory, Dr. Pauline Beery Mack (TWU) discussing her work with NASA, Dr. C.L. Littlfield (NTSU) and his work with the Ford Foundation, and a researcher who studies water pollution. The Chamber of Commerce Collection contains multiple copies of this film which had deteriorated causing poor image quality. This print was donated by Joe Camp and has been scanned in high-definition.
