Description: Personal check from the Fraternal Bank & Trust Company of Fort Worth, made out to the Grand Lodge, F&AM (Free and Accepted Masons) for $850.00 and signed by William Madison McDonald. McDonald was the Grand Lodge's Grand Secretary, and was a leader in the Black Masonic movement. His Fraternal Bank and Trust Company was located in the Grand Masonic Temple on East 9th Street.

[Llano Hotel Cafe Interior, Christmas Decorations]

Description: Photograph of the interior of the Llano Hotel cafe in Midland. The cafe, which has several dining tables with white tablecloths, a bar with a cash register, and shelves of food in the back, is decorated for Christmas, and cafe owner Calvin Trammell sits on one of the bar seats with his elbow resting on the counter. Large sparkling lights hang from the ceiling.

[Men's Sunday School at the Midland County Courthouse]

Description: Photograph of a Sunday School class in front of the Art Deco facade of the Midland County Courthouse. Most wear hats, and a handful of women stand in the right corner along a man in a wheelchair. A man holding a baby, in the second row, fifth from right, is Troy Eiland, holding Bethel Eiland. The class's teacher was Paul T. Vickers, and its president Harry L. Haight, and they met in the Scharbauer Hotel Ballroom on the southeast corner of Loraine and Wall Street.
