Washington, May 18.—Several
hundred delegates are expected to
be present at the eon vent ion of the
Pan-American bimetallic league
which meets in this city next
Tuesday. They will eonie largely
from the west and south, with pos-
sibly a tew from the east, four
from Mexico, two from the Cen-
tral American states, and two
I from Brazil. A delegate is also
«xj»eeted from New Zealand.
This will make the third conven-
tion of the league. Previous ones
have! l>ecn held in Denver, Col.,
and Ogden, Utah. A. C. Fiske of
Denver is president and to him
principally is due the existence of
the league, he having traveled
through the southern countries in
aid of its organization.
They are striving to lay the
foundation for the adoption of a
silver dollar that will pass ourrent
between the United States and the
Central and South American coun-
tries, which, it is argued, will re-
sult in stimulating relations be-
tween them.

mules with harness, a good wagon
and buggy, two cows with year
