• o leights Blvd. , Austin, Texas, informs us that Gordon
McArthur, a former St. Ed's student, 1914-1919,
is the general manager for the firm. Only after they
had been partners for some time did the two men
learn that both were Edsmen. Strickel went to High
School at St. Edward's during the War.
Mr. Arthur Evans, formerly of 14680 Palomino
Drive, San Jose, California, now lives at Rt. 2, Box
____ A26, Morgan Hill, California.

NEW LAWN SPACE
BEAUTIFIES THE CAMPUS
The new lawn between the Congress Street frontage
and the Access Road behind the Science Building has
had four inches of top soil put on it, and it will be put
in Bermuda grass within the next month. In order
that there be no rough spots, all banks will be ter-
raced.
The landscaping work is carried on under the direc-
tion of Brother Daniel Lynch, CSC, and Brother Rob-
ert Carberry, CSC, and is done by student labor only.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter George Beach announced the
marriage of their daughter, Olivette Anne to Mr.
Thomas Joseph Brarby. The wedding took place on
Saturday, February 7th, 1959 at Houston, Texas. The
couple will be at a home at 303B Seabreeze Road,
Mobile, Alabama.
