The Private Collection of the Curtis Estate consists of images from the latter half of the 19th century up to about WWII. The images by professional photographers include tintypes, cartes de visite, cabinet photos, real photo postcards and “modern” photographs. Snapshots from the 20th century were made by family members or friends. The photographers are identified where known.
