Woman’s Wednesday Club
The founding members of the Woman's Wednesday Club were the wives of prominent Fort Worth businessmen seeking to better themselves and their community. They received a $50,000 Carnegie grant for the Fort Worth Public Library, and they award local college students annually for creative writing, English, and fine arts. The scrapbooks in this collection contain materials from 1889 to 2008.
