Houston Age
The Houston Age, also published as the Houston Morning Age, was a daily newspaper published from 1870 to 1897. Published by Dan H. McGary, the Houston Age represented its publisher and editor's strong Democratic ties and their anti-labor stances regularly. McGary published the Houston Age until moving it to Wallisville in 1897, where its title was changed to The Age. This newspaper was made available through a partnership with the Rice University Woodson Research Center.
