Our China Stories
Since 1992, more than 140,000 children have left China for homes in some sixteen countries. A majority of these children live in the U.S., with thousands growing up in Texas. Our China Stories is a living repository of oral histories, written narratives, and photos of adoptees and their families collected by Jena Heath, Associate Professor of Journalism and Digital Media at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. More information about the project can be found here.
