men’s Auxiliary of the First Presby-
terian Church met nt the home of
Mrs. W. F. Krause, 007 East street,
Monday afternoon. Twelve mimhsrs
answered roll call, and two small
visitors, Lnoatta Harbison and Alice
Marie Davidson, wore present.
Mrs A. A Morrison gave an in-
spiring devotional on the topic, “Lord,
Teach Us to Pray." Mrs. W. N.
Varble led the discussion on “Mis-
sions In the Belgian Congo," assist-
ed by Mates. L. L. Davidson, P. S.
Phillips, W. F. Krause, and & C.

Throckmorton for Mrs. Paulin* Wil-
liams Smith, 3$, of Throckmorton,
formerly of Graham, who died Sun-
day after an extended illness.
Mr*. Smith, who lived hers until

Graham and had many friends ban.
Besides her husband, she survived
by her mother, Mrs. WlTliams, of
Throckmorton, and two sisters, Mrs.

Mrs. Jones was bora in Missouri,
where she lived until about twenty
yean ago. Since then she has lived
in Oklahoma, Kansas, and in Texas
for about five yean.
Still quite active, Mrs. Jones loads
a busy life. She read a great deal
until about a year ago when her eye-
sight became rather bad.
She has six living children sad
several grandchildren, including Mn.
O. B. Pope of Graham.
