In spite of so much bad weather
and sickness school attendance has
been good. It seems that the flu
just now reached us. The
trucks have been greatly handicapped
by the mud, making many pupils
miss school ju*t, parts of days; al-
together they hove greatly helped
our attendance.
A*7a result of a campaign made
for tree-planting- near the beginning
of the,, school, we, aa the people of
Bunger community have succeeded
in getting enough trees out to be
commendable lo any community, but
we should -not be satisfied until the
line on the north side is completed.
It wnr tltke abwR FtgW HURT lints|
to finish the row. We are using
elm as they seem to be easier to
find, and easier to transplant. In
ordtjT"to~encourage "you to bring
your tree along and set .it out on
the ground, notice what u there have
done: eleven etna, sevun ' ttackberry,
eight cedars, three willows, one eot-1

four lilacs have been set out this'

and at the same, time instill in the
minds of our young people one of
the greatest qualities of a contented
