Text: "State of Texas, Webb County. Know all men by these presents that we Clemente Salinas ^principal and Augustino Salinas and Pedro Trevino securities of said State and County acknowledge ourselves held and firmly bound to Don Santos Benavides Chief Justice of said County and to his successors in office in the just and full sum of twenty dollars for the true payment of which we bind ourselves our heirs and legal representatives firmly by these presence - [...] one hundr. and [...] this 16[th] day of August A.D. 1860. The condition of the above bond is that the said Clemente Salinas shall well and truly keep and produce to the said Chief Justice one certain known horse about thirteen years old (This day presented and estrayed [sic] before yours Treviño Mayor of the City of Laredo.) at the end of twelve monthse from this date to be disposed of as provided for by law. Then this said bond shall be nul [sic] and void otherwise to be and remain in full force and effect -- ~ Clemnte Salinas, Pedro Treviño, Augustino Salinas. Attest -- Jolen C. Evins, Juan Garcia Soto."
