Charles A. Prince, being first duly sworn, depoees and says that he is
acquainted with Ernest A. Hall, of Toledo, Ohio, hereinafter refered to as "Hall";
That he, the deponent, was attorney for Hall and has knowledge of certain
agreements and transactions entered into by de.onent, Hall, and others during the
years 1939 and 1940 having to do with the promotion of a motion picture entitled
"Wake Up Aerica to Indecency";
That, pursuant to said agreements, Hall advanced cash to finance a pub-
licity tour and other events featuring yies Fern Hall as "Miss Spiritual America",
for the purpose of creating nationwide public interest in a motion picture starring
Miss Fern Hall, which was to be thereafter produced under the title of "Wake Up
America to Indecency";
That, pursuant to said agreements, Hall advanced cash for the incorpor-
ation of a film corporation known as "Imperial Productions, Inc.", which corporation
was to produce and/or distribute the aforesaid motion picture and other future
pictures, if and when sufficient funds for production could be raised from outside
sources;
That, pursuant to said greeents, Hall advanced cash for the purchase
of a story and screenplay from Robert A. Dillon;
That all of said cash advanced by Hall, totaling approximately Q12,00J.O0,
was, pursuant to said agreements, to be repaid to Hall by Imperial Productiono,
Inc., or any other producer and/or distributor of the aforesaid motion picture
which might be engaged;yy . ,
