on Vealis Creek on last Wednesday
April 27th. The high esteem.in which
she she was held was evidenced bjLth*
her in her sickness and who attended
her burial at the Vealis Crtek Ceme-
tery on the following day. Mrs. Cr»t-
slnger leaves a husband and six
children, all of whom were present
when she expired. She was over sixty-'
three years of age at the time of her
death. More than half'of bar' life was
spent in this community: -She was
a faithful member of the Predestinar-
ian Baptist church.

accident yesterday while working the
road. He waa riding a heavy road
plow when his leg was caught between
the plow and a stump-and badly bruis-
ed. We are not informed whether the
bone is broken or not.

Bro. J. R. Saunders, a missionary
from China, has been visiting in the
Loving country the la<*t few days,
and attended services at Lorfng Satur-
day and Sunday Bro. Saunders
made p« a talk on China, Saturday
evening and at 11, o’clock Sunday
One Of the largest congregations that
ever attended church at Loving
was out to hear him Sunday and the
talk was the most interesting that we
have beard for sometime. He pointed
out the good we can do in.the way of
helping with our little mite towards
sending Missionaries to China, and
said that be really enjoyed his work
there because he thought he was dbing
good there in teaching the Chinamen
the Christian religion, and said U»
