One more parting has come on
earthly, another glorious reunion

Mrs. Alcy M. Hawkins fell
asleep in Christ on the night of
December 28, 1910 at the home

Her death was not unexpected,
bat came after an illness of some
months. Her suffering during
the last few d*ys, was very
great, but was borne with the
meekness and patience of her
great soul. She died, as she
lived, trusting in Jesus great

Her body was laid to rest on
Christmas Eve by the side of
her husband, the lamented Uncle
Jimmie Hawkins, in the cemetery
at Hawkins Chapel,-in sight of
the church In which she wor-
shipped for so many years. .*
It is needless to say she was a
Christian. Her life proclaimed

Year was observed by the Ladies'
Missionary Society of the First
Baptist church as ’cHreek off
Prayer, services being held each
evening in the Philathea room
of the church building. Gensid-
ering extreme cold weather first
of the week attendance was very
good and all who braved the
weather were fully repaid as
some good papery were read
