Bob Ballard and family left last
week for Collin county and Jno. Byrd
and family will move soon to Elm
Ridge community. This I think will

Harve Ballard has returned to Col-
lin county, after having spent several
weeks visiting friends and relatives
here.
J. C. Ross and daughter, Miss Geor-
gia, of Brinker, spent Sunday night at
the Home of Geo. W. Carroll.
Masters Lester and Atlee Byrd, and
Clide Langley, visited ye scribe Sun-
day afternoon. Glad to have them
come as they have been my bright
and beloved pupils in the past.
Next 4th Sunday evening is Rev. J.
C. Carroll’s regular appointment at
this place. We hope the weather may
be pretty and a large crowd attend.

had home snow, though it did not
amount to much. No rain here this

Mrs. Walter Horne and baby Laura
Lee, left last week for Gray county,
to join Walter, who went out there

lies are from Reily and are located

kins county folks, as through his
letter he is acting as immigration
agent, and if I were a little younger I
would go too.
Alex Bailey from Eastland county,
has returned to Reily to attend school.
Our school is progressing nicely
now.
John McKay was out riding with
his best girl Sunday afternoon.
There was a social party at Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Stevenson Saturday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Gootee, of Yesner,
visited Mrs. Knox Sunday.
Mrs. Modie Bertram has moved to
her home on the south side of her
farm.
Mr. and Mrs. Attaway from across
Boggy spent Sunday afternoon with
Dr. and Mrs. McElroy. Mr. Attaway
has just returned from Miss., where
he went to carry his daughter Jeffee,
to enter school, and to visit his moth-
er, who is 86 years old, and very fee-
ble, but has all of her faculties, and
reads without glasses. Mr. Attaway
says he is out for commissioner in full
force, and will announce soon.
Mr. Cormack will move his family
this week to Mrs. Modie Bertram’s
house.
Mr. Taylor has moved to one of
Frank Shelton’s houses.
Mrs. Luther McDonald who has
been quite sick several days this week
