Funeral services - for Mrs.
Dennis Kelley, 93, were held in
Henderson Funeral Home at
Santa Anna at 3:30 p.m.
Sunday, February 22, 1976,
"with the Rev. Wright Price of
Santa Anna as officiating
minister. Interment was in
Santa Anna Cemetery under
direction of Henderson Funeral
Hopie.
Mrs. Kelley, who was born
June 23,1882 in Florida, died at
1:00 p.m. Friday in Ranger
Park Hospital at Santa Anna.
The former Susie HOnter, she
was the daughter of John and
Venita Pierce Hunter. A
homemaker and a member of
the Baptist Church, she had .
lived in, Coleman County 65
years. She and Mr. Kelley were
married December 28,1910, in
Union Springs, Alabama.
Her survivors include one-
sister, Mrs. C. B. Kerfott of
Bristol, Virginia; one sister
in law, Mrs. G. A. Hunter of
Columbus, Georgia; and a
Bob Lea veil,
Welder, Dies
At Santa Anna
Robert I. Leavell, 89, Cole-
man welder for many years,
died at 10:15 p.m, Friday in
Ranger Park Hospital at Santa
Anna. Funeral services were
held at 2:30 p.m. Monday,
February 23, 1976, in Hender
son Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial with Masonic rites took
number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were William - place in Coleman City Cemet-
Brown, Julian and B. Kelley, ery under direction of Hender-
Oscar Cheaney, Elgean Harris son Funeral Home of Coleman,
and Louie Guthrie. Robert Bostick of Coleman

Paul Hubbard of Emmanuel
Baptist Church assisted. Pall-
bearers were Garland Marshall,
Leland Fry, Kay Anderson, Jim
Ripley, Jot Dobson, G. F.
Morris, Fred Rudolph and
Thelbert Elkins.
Mr. Leavell, who was born in
Waco February 7, 1887, was
married to Beulah Jones in
Coleman March 3, 1907. A
member of Coleman Church of
Christ, the Downtown Bible
Class, and Coleman Masonic
Lodge, he had lived here since
1905.
Surviving him are his wife;
Mrs. Bob leavell o’f Coleman;-
one daughter, Mrs. Ben Thom-
as of Coleman; a son, Jim
Leavell of San Diego, Calif.; a
;f; sister, Myrtle Hayes of Olney,
£ 111., a brother, Opie Leavell of
Bogalusa, La.; six grandchil-
V dren; and eight great-grand-
X children.

Band Coming To Brownwood

may obtain free tickets by mail
for a special Bicentennial year
appearance in Brownwood by
the United State# Armed
Forces. Bicentennial Band and
Chortis.
Although there is no charge
for the concert, admission to
thb Brownwood Coliseum pro-
gram will be by.ticket only. The
concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.
March 5.
The concert is being sponsor-
ed as a Bicentennial year
project of The Brownwood
Bulletin. Tickets may be obtain-
ed by enclosing a request for
the number needed, along with
a stamped self-addressed enve-
lope, to:. Band Tickets, The
Brownwood Bulletin, Box 1188,
Brownwood, Texas 76801.
Requests will be limited to
six tickets each.
The United States Armed
Forces Bicentennial Band and
Chorus includes a 67-member
band and 24-voice mixed chorus
and will feature a program of
light and patriotic music.
Members of all the nation’s
armed forces are included in
the musical organizations, pick-
ed by audition from the best
regular service muscial groups
and formed into units to travel
the country to help celebrate
America's 200th birthday.

motes leadership, cooperation,
and citizenship among high
school vocational agriculture
students. The FFA Foundation
Awards program provides
chapter, state and national
recognition for supervised pro-
grams in agricultural produc-
tion, marketing, processing and
service.
National FFA Week always
includes George Washington’s
birthday to emphasize his
leadership in promoting scienti-
fic farming practices. Future
Farmers are inspired by Wash-
ington, patron saint of FFA,
Thomas Jefferson, and other
farmer-statesmen.
FFA theme for this week is
“A Future For America.”

the ASCS Office before March 1

Wheat Provisions. If any produ
cer is not certain about how the
wheat program provisions ap-
ply to you, then contact the
ASCS Office for further details.
Any producer who wishes to
destroy his wheat acreage must
first go to the ASCS Office and
file applicable program docu-
ments. An appraisal of the
wheat acreage must be made
prior to the disposition of the
whefit.
