Postcard of a photograph of the interior of the main hall of a large stone cathedral, which has a large gaping hole in the left wall and smaller holes in the roof. A large pile of stone and wood rubble lays in the middle of the hall, with wooden benches pushed back out of the way. Some of the cathedral's tall windows are still intact. Printed text at the bottom of the postcard identifies the cathedral as the Soissons Cathedral.
