Commission
To regulate the expenditure of
Dallas County’s $6,500,000 road
bond issue, four respective business
men frym the city and county will
be named to enter the race for
County Commissioner, subject to
the July primaries. This decision
was reached Monday at a meeting
of Dallas and Dallas County citizens
in the Bush Temple auditorium. J.
K. Hexter was made permanent
chairman at the meeting.
An executive committee was ap-
pointed to selected the candidates
and to conduct a campaign to elect
them. The committee is composed
of Lyon Brotherton of Wheatland,
Chaney Miller of Irving, Ira Blake
of Farmers Branch, Sam Randlett
of Lancaster, W. C. Kingsley of Gar-
land, with a number of business
