A handwritten note on the back of the postcard, addressed to Mrs. Edward Bartley and Miss Lou Rayburn says, "I met Mr. and Mrs. Chapman at a big party given in their honor. They asked to be remembered to you. I have had so many lonely mt. trips - it is beautiful here and so cool. Lois Meade."
