WHEN DOES THE SUN GO DOWN ’
I haven't had a full night's sleep since the
LIGHTHOUSE ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC.
was organised. These henhouse lights come on
early and stay on late and all we have time for
is eating and laying eggs. Of course, the young
chickens are growing faster and fatter on the
schedule. w
I'll admit it's warmer In the winter, we have
running water and yard lights to scare away the
varmlts, but a lady needs her sleep. As for the
people in the big house, even with TV, HI-FI and
an electric workshop they get more sleep than I
da I used to be able to sneak 40 winks when the
power failed bat service is so good I don't got
that any more.
Personally I'm against the LIGHTHOUSE E-
LECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. Their service Is
great for people but I'm chicken. I’d rather have
my shut eye.
