COME AGAIN
We want yoa to know that we appreciate yonr trade
and that we are constantly endeavoring to merit
your continued favor.
Success in the drug business largely, and rigjtly,
depends bpon public confidence, and therefore a
growing trade is, in a sense, a personal compliment
to the druggist. Out business grows steadily all
the time, and this growth is, we believe, due to the
effort constantly made to conserve the interests of
our customers. j
We trust that your experience in trading here has
been such as to justify you in giving th/fs store the
preference whenever possible, for we constantly
striviug to be worthy the honor of being "your
druggist.'' /

I.arg* Vote w»h Poled--AIdermaiilc
Changes,
About (S:30 yesterday evening, in
company with several other boys who
were swimming in Hickory creek,
Kred, the lfl-yesr-old son of Mr. and
Mrs. B. Neely, prominent residents of
Denton, was drowned.
Yesterday morning Messrs. A. S.
Cowan, Henry Caddell and Elbert
Scroggins, Claud Menter. Carl Cowan
and the unfortunate boy went out to
Hickory creek lishing. In the evening
the boys went in swimming while
Messrs Caddel and Cowan went fur-
ther up the creek to catch minnows.
It appears that Fred was "diving" and
the last time he went down became
fastened or tangled in some roots that
were on the bottom and could not get
loose. When he failed to rise some of
bis companions gave the alarm while
others tried to rescue him. Messrs.
Caddel and Cowan, hearing the cries of
the boys, hastily returned and succeed-
in bringing him to the surface. Life
was almost extinct and all efforts to
save him were in vain. A large crowd
left town yesterday after dark and re-
turned about ten o,clock with the body.
The funeral services will take place
at the family residence on West Hick-
ory street this (Thursday) afternoon at
4 o'clock. Interment at the Odd Fel-
lows cemetery.
