The Texas Administrative Code (TAC) is the approved, collected volumes of Texas ad-
mrinistrative rules
How To Cite: Under the TAC scheme, each agency rule is designated by a TAC
number. For example, in the citation 1 TAC 27.15
1 indicates the title under which the agency appears in the Texas
Administrative Code,
TAC stands for the Texas Administrative Code,
27.16 is the section number of the rule (27 indicates that the rule is under
Chapter 27 of Title 1; 15 represents the individual rule within the chapter).Texas Register
