Obituary
Mr. John L. Brown, Jr. was born August 30, 1916 in
Denison, TX, the youngest of 9 children born to
Dorthula and John Brown. His parents and six siblings
preceded him in death.
He attended the Denison Public Schools.
He was a longtime employee of the MKT Railroad.
He married Alma Fields and to this union three children
were born.
In 1948 he joined St. Paul United Methodist Church
where he attended faithfully until his health declined.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters Ollie Jones
and Viola Walker of Denison, TX; daughters Cynthia
White and Jo Ann Gardner; son Gerald Brown; 4
grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; numerous
nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
