A Railroad Man Loses his Mind Specu-
lating.
A lunacy casK was tried in Probate
court this morning which is attributed
to the present Beaumont oil craze. The
defendant was a railroad conductor a
man of about 48 years of age and the
testimony of physicians at the trial
showed that his mind had been running
on speculations. To his friends he ex-
pressed himself as owning oil wells and
rice fields and imagined himself a rich
man.
He will be taken to the insane asy
him for treatment.
