Item text: "Headquarters Army Air Base Savannah, Georgia. August 16, 1941 Re-enlisted by me, this date, for a period of three (3) years, R.W. Andrews, Capt., Air Corps Recruiting Officer - Honorable Discharge from The Army of the United States To all whom it may concern: This is to certify, that Clifford R. Baird 6377076, Staff Sergeant., 13th Bombardment Squadron (Light) Air Force Combat Command the Army of the United States, as a testimonial of honest and faithful service, is hereby honorably discharged from the military service of the United States by reason of expiration of service. Said Clifford R. Baird was born in Campbell County, in the state of Tennessee when enlisted he was 26 years of age and by occupation a Farmer. He had blue eyes, brown hair, ruddy complexion, and was five feet eight inches in height. Given under my hand at Savannah Army Air Base, Savannah, Georgia this 15th day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one. Paul L. Williams, Lieut. Colonel, Air Corps, Commanding.
