Notes

Text: "Sunday afternoon. My Own Precious -- I was so glad to get your special this morning -- it didn't come until nearly noon, and I had about given up hope of getting one. Yes, I did miss your letter yesterday very much. Gladys Weber and Mabel Thurman took dinner over here with us today, and stayed to play bridge a while afterwards. They seem to be having a fine time, got up and went swimming this morning. Seeing these girls from Austin made me just long to be with you, so much so that I'm afraid I wasn't even halfway entertaining the time I did talk to them. I studied last night till 12, all morning, and up till noon today getting my bacteriology slides and notebook ready, and thank goodness I'm about thru with 'em. We are getting ready to make the five o'clock show of "Robin Hood" which is starting here today. We surely did enjoy our afternoon on the beach yesterday, swam and played ball so much we are all "sorta" stiff as a result. The waves were mighty high, and it was lots of fun. I certainly do hope you can get to come down before these finals start. Only three more weeks and they'll be on us! Believe me, I hate the thought of going thru another set of finals. And that moon is getting to be so pretty! I love you, sweetheart, and think of you just all the time. Kiss me real long -- Your own, Felix."
