Coa'tal Bend Hospital is undergoing major changes in its physical plant and the maintenance department
would under the circumstances be the prime mover in such a project. The Coastal Bend Hospital mainte-
nance department has worked diligently and enthusiastically in the last few months to convert the old
Aransan Motel into a Hospital Annex providing additional offices and work area for the Hospital depart-
ments and staff.
Part of the reconstruction project was the reconstruction of part of it into a child care center for the use of the
hospital staff. The maintenance department did a remarkable job in creating the child care center.
The maintenance department consists of Director Virgil Geary, Roy Edler, Brent Hopper, Danny Lamas,
Carlton Wood, James Turner, Billy Stone, Dale Fugett, Floyd Wiley and Gilbert Sanchez.
