The Texas City Branch of the
Woman’s Auxiliary to the Board
of Missions, met at the home of
Mrs. T. K. Moore, Wednesday
afternoon, December 2nd.
After the regular monthly
business was transacted, the
study class, under the leader-
ship of Mrs. T. K. Moore, spent
a very interesting and instruc-
tive hour, in which the 9th, 10th
and 11th Chapters of the Gospel
of St. -Matthew were studied and
learned. This study class is be-
coming more interesting each
time. The next meeting will be
with Mrs. L. E. Robert, Decem-
ber 16th, study class under the
leadership of Mrs. F. R. Sawyer.
The following members were
in attendance: Mrs. C. W. Free*
land, Mrs. J. R. Booth, Mrs. L. E.
Robert, Mrs. W. S. Van Treese,
Mrs. J. H. Moore, Mrs. F. R. Saw-
yer, and Mrs. T. K. Moore.
The meeting adjourned, after
which, Mrs. Moore, assisted by
her sister, served delicious cake
and coffee.

Company at Berlin. The instru-
ment has a clear vision or range
of eight or nine miles and works

transferred to the Second Ar-
tillery at Manila, Philippines.
