E.M. Robinson from Saturday
noon till after lunch on Sunday.
They attended church in Gra-

Mrs. H. M. Bettis, Sr., spon-
sor, presented the Teenage Li-
brary Association pins to eleven
members. Danna Knight re-
ceived a three-year pin and Ric-
ky Layfield received a two-year
pin. Students receiving one-
year pins were Stan Crowley,
George Ashley, Lucretia Ash-
ley, Connie Beth Allen, Linda
Rea, Kathy Ramsey, Johnny
Hill, Danny Goss, and Linda
Cole.
The annual banquet is always
one of the highlights of the ac-
tlvitles of the GHS Library Club.

vival in Ellasville this week.
Services will continue through

Hears Report
Linda Rea and Danny Goss
gave reports on Infocade 1966
at the Graham High School Li-
brary Club meeting last Mon-
day. Linda and’ Danny were
delegates from the Club to the
West Texas Chamber of Com-
merce sponsored Infocade held
in Mineral Wells recently. High
schol leaders from the West
Texas area were in attendance
at this meeting.
Linda gave the highlights of
each speech given at Infocade.
Danny summed up the activities
and gave his impressions of this
meeting.

AWS Chooses
Outstanding
Women at MU
Barbara Baker and Penny
Baldwin have been nominated as
outstanding women at Midwest-
ern University, Wichita Falls.
Seventy - three coeds from a
total of 1216 women students
were nominated by every stu-
dent organization and academic
department on campus. Each
group could nominate one girl
for each of the four classes
and a candidate for "woman of
the year,"
Miss Baker, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Bruce E. Baker, 1214
Calaveras, Graham, is a Soph-
omore English major and was
nominated by the English De-
partment as Outstanding Soph-
omore.
Miss Baldwin, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Baldwin,
409 Tennesee, is a Senior Eng-
lish major. She was nominated
as Outstanding Senior by Gam-
ma Phi Beta.
The American Women’s So-
ciety at Midwestern will re-
view the nominees and select
the top three in each division,
based upon scholarship, char-
acter and service to the cam-
pus community.
Outstanding women in each
class and "Woman of the Year"
will be announced at a recog-
nition banquet to be held April
20 in Mil’s Clark student Cen-
ter.

on Salt Creek Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Iva Farmer and Wanda
visited in Fort Worth Sunday.
Mrs. Iva Farmer visited her
daughter and the others visited
Mr. and Mrs. Ashford Nichol-
son. On their way home they
stopped at Azle to see Grady's
sister and family.
We are glad to know that
Mrs. S. L. Baldwin is able to
leave the hospital.
E. M..Robinson visited Tues-
day afternoon with his sisters,
Mrs. Ludie Downey and Mrs.
Tom Stewart, and also John
McGee of Jean,
Mrs. J. B. Hoggard attended
the District THDA meeting at
Breckenridge last week and HD
Council on Monday afternoon.
