Kempner Subscriptions to Blind Societies We have been subscribing for the last three years to five different blind societies, which includes $10. 00 to the Overseas Blind in '49, '50 and '51. This letter was addressed to me and you probably have likewise received same but I see no need of an ad- ditional contribution by me or anyone else this year. In fact, I am very much averse to putting out any money [or overseas relief until we know how much of this is going to such countries as India, Egypt, and China particularly mentioned who certainly in the present crisis are not our friends.
