Weather conditions the past few
days, warm and cloudy, and
threatening rain.
Tuesday morning an inch rain
fell, putting the ground as wet as
at any time this winter. The grain
fields are a carpet of green.
Mrs. Howard Chandler and
children of Eunice, N. Mexico, ar-
rived Sunday to visit her sister,
Mrs- Rubin Bradshaw, and mother,
Mrs. M. C. Bingham and ottyer
relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Burger and
children of Brady, spent Sunday
with Mi. and Mrs, Tom Irwin.
Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Miller of Bra-
dy also spent Sunday afternoon
with the Irwins.
Miss Dorothy Bradshaw spent
from Friday to Sunday in Aus-
tin, where she took a civil service

day afternoon for Mrs. Sherman
