Johnson Named as New THS Principal
From Tulia ISD
Dixie Johnson will take over at Tulia High School as the new Principal starting on Monday, July 13th.
Mrs. Johnson has been with the Tulia ISD for 10 years as a Diagnostician and Director of Special Educa-
tion. She has a total of 21 years in education and served students as an Elementary and Secondary Teacher
for 11 years in Silverton ISD. Mrs. Johnson has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Wayland Baptist and a
Masters of Education Degree from West Texas A&M University. Her certifications include Reading, ESL,
Special Education, Principal and Diagnostician.
Students and staff will be in good hands with Mrs. Johnson’s instructional focus and leadership experi-
ence. I have full confidence that she will provide strong leadership for staff, maximize the academic poten-
tial of our students and take Tulia High School to exemplary status as an A rated campus. Please help me
