passed away Jan. 31, 2011, in
Graham. Amemorial servicewill
be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12,at
Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in
Graham. McMillan-Satterwhite
Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
Mrs. Bennett was born Feb. 4,
1923, in Clarksville to Lucy Swain
Goodman and Roy Goodman.
Mary lived most of her life in
Dallas. She moved to Graham in
2005 to be near family.
Mary was preceded in death
by her brother, Roy Goodman;
grandson, Jacob Bennett;great-

to 1952, secretary at Eastside
Church of Christ from 1971 to
1980 and PBX Operator at Gra-
ham National Bank from 1980
to 2000. She was an American
Red Cross blood volunteer for
30 years through \
donated 148 units of (
blood.
Margie Bruce, 56, passed
away Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, in
Graham. A private graveside
service was Feb. 8 at Veale Creek
Cemetery in Stephens County.
Arrangements were under the
direction of Morrison Funeral
and nephew Butch Goodman.
She is survived by her chil-
dren and their spouses, Sue
and Larry Morgan, Sally and
John Gregory and Tommy and
Susie Bennett; grandchildren
and spouses, Shawn and Russ
Turpin, Clay Christensen, Sara
and Steve Durnil, Emily and
Casey Armstrong, Matt Houseal,
Dustin Bennett and Amber. Her
surviving great-grandchildren
are Skyler, Haley, Jason, Clara,
Justin, Emma Ray, Jordan,Trinity
and Cooper.
