the Marine Detachment U. S. S. Arizona since June 1926 and dur-
ing the period in Nicaragua has been in charge of the Brigade
Post Office. His many friends from the Battle Fleet wish him
a pleasant cruise ashore.
First Lieutenant J. E, Stanners came in from San Frincisco
with influenza .a is recuperating at the FieJL. Hospital, Second
Brigade, as his relief, First Lieutenant M. D. Scott, left for

galpa and is assigned to permanent duty at the hospital. First
Lieutenant Bacon spent two drye in Managua in the course of a
short visit from the Matagalpa district. Captain Geyer and First
Lieutenant H. C. Roberts of Coco Patrol fame are at present in
Managua, both are lptients at the Brigade Field Hospital.
