CHRISTMAS SOCIAL CVINT8.
One of the most pleasant, and,
to the participants, enjoyable oc-
casions of Christmas was a party
given to the little folks at the
residence of Mr. J. G. Kearby,
on Christmas night, by bis
charming little daughter, Miss
Nora. A large crowd of -the
young ones were present, and
they had a right royal time.
Quite pleasant sociables were
given at the parlors of the Bon-
Ton and Harris houses during the
holidays.
Misses Beulah Dickard, Minnie
Woodhouse and Lula Scruggs all
came home from school to spend
the holidays, and added much by
their presence to the enjoyment
of the young people. Misses
Beulah and Lula are' attending
the Dallas Female College, and
Miss Minnie, the Sherman Insti-
