birthday party for Miss Mlary Cath-
erine Snoddy. During the evening

A memorial service in tribute to
Mrs. M. E. Short was held by the
Truth Seekers Class of the ihirst
Baptist Church Wednesday after-
noon, January 10, at the home of
Mrs. J. -T. Rickman, daughter of
“Mother” Short.

in charge, the meeting opened with
a prayer by Mrs. Alice Mayes. Mrs.

With the advent of 1940, the
Texas Tuberculosis Association
urges this resolution, for the, Near

a B squad game with the Bracken-
ridge B squad at 6:30. The second
