SCHEDULED IN SPORT
DRIVE ON INFANTILE
Upwards of 160 benefit events al-
ready have bean scheduled this month
and February to aid the 1941 “Fight
Infantile Paralysis” campaign, it was
announced today by the National
Sports Council of the Committee for
the Celebration of the President’s
Birthday. Hundreds of other events
are in the making. Chairman Grant-
land Rice reported.

plant a field crop in connection with
his regular demonstration in 1941 at
a meeting of the 4-H county council
in the court house January 4.
The Land Use Planning commit-
tee of Young county has pointed out
the need for more feed and recom-
mended the use of trench silos as a
means of economical storage of this
feed. In connection with this, the
council approved a plan whereby
each of the fifteen 4-H clubs would
have a trench silo demonstration

Other goals of the council include
the payment of a $60.00 scholarship
