"Bill-of-all-trades" well describes
this Week's Warrior Bill Moling
as tar at. track is concerned.
Moring normally a hurdles man
claims that coach Vernon Hilliard
has had him doing everything from
repairing hurdles to watering the
new cinder track during the past
thiee years. Bill not also runs on
the mile relay team is called upon
frequently as a quartcr-miler and
has been an 880 man for a week

Broad Jump he tried that last

A senior and co-captain from
Stephenvllle Moring can be seen

the TC meet be held in Abilene

secondly the facilities in Abilene
are superior especially since the

It was "Texas Conference Day"
at the Border Olympics in Laredo
Saturday as three TC colleges
Abilene Christian Howard Payne
and McMurry combined collected
103 points to out-best even the
efforts of the strong Southwest
Conference though the two con-
ferences participated in separate
divisions.
Couch Vernon Milliard's track-
sters running only a 10-ntan
squad also helped the ACC Wild-
cats round out an "Abilene Day"
as they grubbed 10 mints In the
college division with one second
one third and five fourth plaecN.
Points were awarded on a rt-8-2-1
basis.
Abilene Christian edged North
Texas to win their first victory of
the Border Olympics and Howard
Payne came in a close third. ACC
finished with 39 points to favored
North Texas' 37' and Howard
Payne's 31 'i.
Perhaps the most Interesting
contest of the Border meet was
