into flames upon impact after clipping tree tops
along a creek and striking a fence just short of
an open field.

in Arlington. He is survived by his wife and

A Navy jet fighter plane crashes and burns about
four miles southwest of Mansfield in the
corner of Ellis county killing the pilot, Lieutenant
Commander Billy L. Wilson, assistant flight training
officer at the Dallas T1aval Air Station.  Navy
officials  e   say the pilot had taken off from
the air station five minutes before the crash.
