Day ensemble of floral silk:

a) Blouse of cornflower blue floral silk jacquard. V-neck bordered in embroidery of blue floral motif with swirling lines of chain stitch. Long sleeved with gentle gathering at arms eye and gathering into elastic bands at wrists.

b) Skirt of blue silk with pink rose floral motif. Ankle length. Accordion pleats sewn into waistband reinforced with interfacing, secured on left side with series of snaps and hook and eye. At knee length is a band of bold larger floral motifs in red, green, purple, yellow, and white with embroidery and swirling lines of chain stitch creating a quilted effect. Bottom hem as band of turquoise blue point lace finished in triangular pattern. Label: center back waistline “Oscar de la Renta”

c) Contour belt of blue floral silk jacquard with chain stitch embroidery in floral and swirling pattern, curved to follow the line of the back. Trimmed with bright yellow piping and turquoise point lace. Secured with two hooks on back left side and five pairs of grommets on left side. Stamped on back: “10 Oscar de la Renta”

d) Scarf of multicolored floral silk jacquard measuring 52” on each side. Pattern of concentric squares of varying floral motifs in turquoise, magenta, green, purple, orange, and yellow.
