All four candidates for the Dallas City Council positions were given a questionnaire with six questions: [1] "Do you think that gay men and lesbian women should have the same civil rights?" [2] "Do you as a Texas citizen repeal section 2106 of the Texas penal code which criminalizes the private sexual behavior of consenting adults?" [3] "Do you support the inclusion of the repeal section 2016 of the Texas penal code as part of the Texas Dallas legislature agenda?" [4] "Support the increased funding towards aids health care, social services and public education?" [5] "Do you agree that AIDS is a handicapping position and that a person with AIDS should not be discriminated in employment, housing, insurance, education, etc?" [6]"Should they be denied employment from the City department because of sexual orientation?"
