The video was made in lieu of Lloyd-Jones attending the luncheon in Portland, Oregon at CSLA's 47th annual meeting where the award was officially announced. The Church and Synagogue Library Association's Rodda Book Award, named for lifetime CSLA member, Dot Rodda, recognizes a book which exhibits excellence in writing and has contributed significantly to congregational libraries through promotion of spiritual growth. The award is given to books for adults, young adults, and children on a three-year-rotational basis.
