Photocopy of a memo from Leilani Lattin Duke, director of the Getty Center for Education in the Arts, to the Regional Institute Directors. The memo is in regards to how the states are proceeding with the planning of the implementation of Goals 2000. Duke is enclosing copies of a recent mailing from the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, with the intent to the the RIGs more involved and mainstreamed with state education reform efforts and that the Federal U.S. Department of Education funds are given to states .
